Karin Nielsen

Karin studied Romanic Languages & Cultures in Groningen, and moved to Barcelona after finishing her studies in 1994. She then worked for over 20 years as a consular employee at the Dutch consulate in Barcelona. Since August 2019 she works as a certified translator at our office in Barcelona.

Karin is a certified translator in the languages Spanish and Dutch, and has specialised in the translation of legal texts. Legal translation is a challenge for her because it requires knowledge of both the Spanish and Dutch legal systems and the legal terminology of both countries.
